(Penelope Crew, class of 2026) This piece is inspired by a picture of me when I was younger blowing out candles to a birthday cake, and I used it to blow colorful bubbles. the blowing symbolizes wish as in the “wishful thinking” I think it inspires hope and also enraptures childhood as a prevalent part of all our lives with the small doodles and vibrant color palette used.
