The Meaning of Beauty

This piece was inspired by my recent trip to Joshua Tree--the scenery and nature were absolutely stunning! I took each of these photos myself, begging my parents to stop the car so that I could get out and snap a picture along the side of the road. Ultimately, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I wanted to express my personal view of the beauty of our own world. From a lonely rock to an angry thornbush to an expanse of silence, beauty is everywhere if only one chooses to see it.
